aims to increase access to youth-centred CSE among young people in and out of
school from 10 to 24 years, improve the delivery of CSE through schools and
community groups, link young people with youth-friendly health services, improve
coordination of national and local actors on CSE and engage youth as advocates
and researchers on CSE.
Officer MEAL, Keep it Real will be responsible for monitoring, documentation,
and evaluation of the Keep it Real project for both central and Northern
region. The post holder may be called upon as and when necessary to support the
emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should possess a
bachelor’s degree in public Health, quantitative economics, Social
Science, or related field or equivalent accrued working experience, with
skills and experience in health, data management or Community Development,
is a distinct advantage - At least three years’ relevant working
experience on monitoring and evaluation, especially related to
youth-centred approaches to education or health that takes SRHR priorities
or gender as a point of departure; with at least 1 year at an
international NGO preferred. - Past experience with monitoring including
data collection, data cleaning, and data entry in SPSS or STATA, as well
as databases. - Past exposure and experience of working
with local partners and District Local Government in Child Rights
Governance, Health, Nutrition, Education, HIV/AIDS or Child Protection is
an added advantage. - Possess excellent analytical skills and
strategic planning abilities. - Ability to establish and maintain
conducive collegial relations and perform effectively as a member of a
team. - Willingness to travel and work in
hard-to-reach areas, occasionally under strenuous conditions. - Computer literacy and excellent
documentation skills are a must. - Availability and willingness to work extra
hours during times of humanitarian responses. Highly developed cultural awareness
and ability to work well in an international environment with people from
diverse backgrounds and cultures - Ability to intervene with crisis
management or troubleshooting as necessary. - Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching - Excellent time management and planning
capacity. - Availability and willingness to work extra
hours during times of humanitarian responses.
