live abundantly. PW creates partnerships between community institutions and
established business people to provide mentoring, training, access to capital
and advocacy. In Uganda, PW supports over
5,000 small and medium enterprises through partnerships with local
institutions. These institutions offer training, access to affordable capital,
networking, and linkage opportunities through local and international forums.
Partnership Manager will mainly support and coordinate existing partnerships
and grow new, strategic partnerships.
- Work
closely with the PW Uganda board in identifying key country focus areas
and formulating those in a country strategy. The PM will also be the key
driver in implementing the said strategy by providing regular reporting,
monitoring and evaluation of the plans to the board and his/her supervisor - Support
the Regional Facilitator in developing overarching strategies for Uganda
partnerships and provide administrative and project support for these
strategies. Support grant research and reporting, as appropriate. - Develop
a pipeline of new Local Community Institutions that would appropriate for
the needs of the PW Uganda network; on-board as appropriate. - Actively
facilitate the creation and manage the implementation of Annual
Partnership Agreements between Local Community Institutions and their
Business Affiliates - Intuitively
review and submit monthly financial reports to East/West Africa Regional
office, program narratives, and Quarterly metrics reports - Facilitate
the implementation of the PW Business curriculum among the Local Community
Institutions - Maintain
regular communication with partnership stakeholders and PW head office to
share updates, case studies, and stories for fundraising, marketing and
global cross-learning purposes - Coordinate
and host mentoring visits from global Business Affiliate (BA) members;
evaluate and strengthen current mentoring activities between high growth
potential Uganda businesses and global Business Affiliates - Coordinate
and plan national and regional networking forums - Provide
training, oversight and evaluation of international and national interns,
as needed
- The
applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in business from a reputable
university, an MBA would be an added advantage - At
least three years’ experience in a managerial position. - Prior
experience in cross-cultural setting and or business background is an
added advantage - Strong
written and oral communication skills - Possess
the ability to work in a cross-cultural setting - Mature
Christian of high integrity with a passion to serve others and to end
poverty - Ability
to work with little supervision, and flexibility to thrive in unstructured
work environments and relationships. - Excellent
interpersonal skills
