About UEPB:
The Uganda Export Promotion
Board (UEPB) is a public agency set up by an Act of Parliament: The Uganda
Export Promotion Board Act. The Board, supervised by the Ministry of Trade,
Industry and Cooperatives, was set up with the main objective of facilitating
the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities
that lead to export growth on a sustainable basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Spearheading
the Human Resource Section of the Finance and Administration Division,
particularly by providing leadership, direction and supervision for all
assigned functions, activities and personnel of the Section - Actively
participating in the drafting of performance agreements for Board staff - Participating
in implementation of the Board’s Human Resource Policy/TACOS; and review
thereof - Responsible
for the implementation and management of the payroll - Maintain
and safeguard up-to-date records on all staff - Initiate
and spearhead implementation of the Board’s Human Resource Development
Plan - Overseeing
the staff performance appraisal process - Perform
any other duties that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should hold an honors University degree in Business
Administration/Management/Studies or Social Sciences, and at least a Post
Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. - A
minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in a
reputable institution. i. High level of integrity - Strong
inspirational, motivational, networking and teambuilding skills - Excellent
communication skills - Courteous
- High
personal initiative and self drive
