Job Summary: The AM – Zonal Operations will be responsible for the following:
  • Overseeing Regional Stock Points, Sun King Business Agents (SBAs) and Sun King Business Managers (SBMs) from induction to exit covering assessments, evaluation, contracts management, periodic audits & physical verifications, compliance, etc. using GTrack and as per agreed process.
  • Ensuring Operations Standard Operating Procedures with District Stock Points, SBAs, SBMs, Sales Teams, etc.
  • In charge of Payout Administration: Handling payouts for various schemes (incentive schemes, various other schemes)
  • MIS / Reporting to sales teams
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Partner regional sales team to manage and work with distribution partners: District Stock Points, Sunking Business Associates (SBA) and Sunking Business Managers (SBM)
  • Assess, evaluate and induct them into GLP system,
  • Manage all aspects of contracts with them, handle their grievances and provide resolutions,
  • Periodically audit them, and
  • Manage their exits as and when required.
  • Monitor KPIs, TAT, service levels, SOP compliance, etc. for the Area Stock Points
  • Ensure monthly stock-take and reconciliation of distributor inventories
  • Ensure use of GTrack, a tool developed by Greenlight for operational efficiency encompassing distribution operations, inventory management, stock movements, etc.
  • Compile and submit various reports on secondary and tertiary sales, sales returns, etc. and support zonal sales team with smart analytics
  • Assist the Distribution Operations Manager with demand forecasting on a monthly basis
  • Support regional sales teams in administering various schemes and subsequent pay-outs via mobile-money, banks, etc.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree or Post Graduate qualification (MBA-preferably Operations) from a Premier institution APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) would be an added bonus
  • At least four to six years’ experience in Supply Chain Management with expertise in sales and distribution operations companies.
  • Past exposure and experience of working with distributors / stockists / stock points.
  • Prior experience of working in rural markets or working with FMCG / Pharma / product distribution companies would be an added benefit.
  • Good working knowledge and hands on experience of distribution operations including understanding of logistics (warehousing & physical distribution, including reverse logistics, GRN/GI processes), commercial / Fiscal knowledge, local taxation, entry taxes, other statutory requirements, etc.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of appointing & inducting distribution partners, carrying out audits, evaluations, checks, handling grievances, managing exits, etc.
  • Ability to manage and work with distribution partners, customers, sales teams and other functions
  • Possess the ability to connect with people, excellent communication skills (including local language proficiency) & high energy
  • Ability to deploy operations SOPs
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, VBA, other reporting tools and formats (MS Access knowledge would be an added advantage)
  • Past experience in basic data / business analysis
