The Uganda Nurses and Midwives
Council is a semi autonomous Health Professional body under the MOH established
by Uganda Nurses and Midwives Act, 1996 to regulate and supervise the provision
of quality Nursing and Midwifery services to the public. Its mandate is to set
and regulate standards of training and practice of nursing and midwifery and
provide professional guidance for public safety.

Job Summary: The Education,
Training and Registration Manager will oversee the education, training,
sensitization and registration of all qualified Nursing and Midwifery
professionals

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should hold a good bachelors degree in Nursing from a recognized
University - Possession
of a Masters Degree in Nursing/Midwifery is an added advantage - The
incumbent must be registered and have an updated license with the Uganda
Nurses and Midwives Board - The
applicant must have served as a Nurse/Midwife Educator for not less than
three years
