Resource Officer (3 Career Vacancies)
- Handling
and verifying information related to recruitment, salary changes,
personnel statistics and job analysis. - Drafting
letters of appointments, promotion and confirmation. - Assisting
in assessing terminal benefits like pensions and gratuities. - Collecting
data and other vital statistics relating to recruiting and training. - Processing
staff relations and welfare matters. - In
charge of staff relationships and welfare matters. - Interpreting
Public Service Standing Orders for collective agreement for recognition
and negotiations between management and staff. - Advising
on disciplinary procedures. - Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- The Human Resource Officer should be
Ugandans serving officers who have attained higher qualifications in the
following fields: - The applicants must hold Honours
Bachelor’s Degree in either Social Work and Social Administration or Human
Resource Management or Public Administration and Management or Business
Studies/Administration/Commerce (Management/HRM Option) or Arts or Social
Sciences or Development Studies or any other relevant equivalent
qualification with HRM/Personnel Management as one of the course unit from
a recognized University/Institution. - He/she should possess the following
competencies: Human Resource Management, Records and Information
Management skills, effective communication skills, managing employee
performance, flexibility skills, ethics and integrity. - Applicants should have been confirmed in
their substantive appointment.
