capacity of health systems in Africa with strong emphasis on infectious
diseases through research, and capacity development. IDI has five operational
areas through which it works to achieve its mission: Prevention, Care and
Treatment; Training, Research and Laboratory services (provided through a
partnership with the Makerere University-John Hopkins University Core Lab) and
Outreach. IDI invites applications for the following full-time positions for
upcoming US government (USAID) sponsored projects for delivery of services for
HIV/AIDS and related health conditions.
Operations will be responsible for overall financial management and
administration of the project.
Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Master’s
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other relevant
field, or a Bachelor’s or certified accounting degree with 10 years’
experience - At least five years’ experience in
administrative and financial management of complex, international development
assistance programs. - Comprehensive working knowledge of USG
cost principles, regulations, GAAP accounting rules and grants and
contracts management. - Expert knowledge in the use of financial
software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing. - Past experience using Navision software
will be an advantage
