Job Summary: The IT Architecture Specialist will mainly support the Global Technology Company in developing and maintaining client’s IT architecture
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in determining enterprise level systems architecture, design and approaches to deployment for the client.
· Assist in continually benchmarking the client’s IT system against best practice standards (e.g. PAS56, COSO, NIST, ISO27001, Zachmann etc.), defining best practice adoption plans and proffer recommendations to the Manager, IT Architecture and Security.
· Assist in ensuring compliance of all architecture/design changes to approved IT standards and policies.
· Assist in enforcing standardised change control methods to guarantee that production systems run only on authorised and tested configurations.
· Assist in implementing automated configuration audits using appropriate tools.
· Update and maintain an accurate record of the client’s IT Architecture and Security status on a regular basis and escalate irregularities to the Manager, IT Architecture and Security.
· Work closely with relevant unit/ team/function in carrying out all relevant activities.
· Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
· Offer guidance and manage the performance of subordinates (where applicable).
· Compile and submit periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Manager, IT Architecture and Security.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, IT Architecture and Security.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should hold a first degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
· Two or more years’ experience in a similar role.
