valued Client, a licensed financial institution established in Uganda and part
of a global group with operations in over 20 countries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Take
    lead and manage the branch team to achieve deposit and savings targets.
  • Meet
    the set targets for loan disbursement and portfolio quality.
  • Offer
    technical advice on the economic situation within the environment that may
    present business opportunities.
  • Ensure
    the branch team has sufficient product knowledge.
  • Arrange
    marketing drives and participate in promotions to increase branch
    deposits.
  • Network
    with potential customers in all relevant categories in the branch
    locality.
  • Provide
    leadership to both the operations and relationship teams.
  • Ensure
    effective customer service delivery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    candidate should possess a Good Bachelor’s degree preferably in Commerce
    and Business Administration
  • Professional
    training in banking and finance.
  • Five
    or more years’ experience in Banking or Savings & Loan, and Operations
  • Detailed
    knowledge of the principles, practices and legal issues relating to credit
    management and performance management, strategic planning and budget
    administration.
