and African and Asian Development Bank. We continuously tender for new projects
and are frequently looking for additional/replacement staff on existing
projects (long and short time).
Experience:
- The applicant should possess a master’s
degree in engineering/civil engineering, water and sanitation, or related
fields. - Fifteen or more years’ work experience in
advising water and sanitation sector institutions and companies in
developing countries, preferably in East Africa, including 10 years in
leading and management positions. - Comprehensive knowledge of the water and
sanitation sector; very good knowledge of capacity development approaches,
both at an institutional/policy and operational level, including
vocational training and infrastructure asset management systems. - Comprehensive knowledge and experience in
financial planning and management, and policy development. - Excellent command of English language.
- Good knowledge of German language (both
spoken and written) would be considered an advantage.
