- Develop best practice Human Resource policies and procedures for our client.
- Write recruitment adverts for publication.
- Recruit, interview, test, and select employees to fill vacant positions
- Prepare employee contract letters
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation and training
- Manage staff database and records ensuring that all employee records are accurate
- Quickly respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures etc.
- Oversee all administrative tasks as assigned
- The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and/or related
- A minimum of four years of related working experience
- Proficiency in computer software (Standard of Proficiency in MS Excel and Word including excellent keyboard skills
- Strong understanding of HR practices and legalities
- Good working knowledge of administrative & clerical procedures
- Strong understanding of the corporate / business operating environment
- Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills.
- Excellent comprehensive analyzing ability
- Excellent multi-tasking ability
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Luganda, and another local language
- Excellent team player
- Highly motivated and achievement oriented
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Excellent report writing skills
