Officer (Outreach)
is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage. The
Uganda Wildlife Education Center is a fun and exciting place to see and learn
about the animals of Uganda and the ecosystems in which they live. Take some
time to learn how they live, eat, play, and talk.

Experience:
- The Education Officer (Outreach) should
hold a good Bachelors in education with training in wildlife management or
Bachelor of biological Science degree with a qualification in education - Other Desired Qualifications: project
planning, public relations, Customer care - At least three or more years’ experience
in education services - Possess the ability to develop the
curriculum for environmental education for integration into the formal
school syllabus. - Competence in Developing programmes for
various target audiences of varying ages and educational needs. - Ability to Visit schools and higher
education institutions to deliver outreach programs. - Proficiency in developing and implementing
special education events. - Ability to engage the communities on the
issues of environmental Education and keep in touch with the community
leaders and the public. - Ability to develop and implement special
education events - Be able to carry out research, innovate
and continuously develop new outreach programmes so as to stimulate public
interest. - Carry out evaluation and monitoring of
programmes and use the findings to improve new programs.
