Insurance Sector with operations in over 10 countries across Africa and
Worldwide.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
  • Actively
    develop, implement and monitor the company’s Sales’ Strategy.
  • Monitor
    the performance of the Sales Representatives.
  • Oversee,
    train and develop the Sales Representatives.
  • Develop
    and manage the Sales’ reporting and communication systems.
  • Ensure
    adherence and compliance of the company’s selling guidelines and
    principles.
  • Initiate
    and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets and
    increase the customer base.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    candidate should possess a good business related University degree from a
    recognized institution.
  • At
    least five years’ experience in sales administration with at least 2 years
    in a supervisory role.
  • Ability
    to plan, organize and coordinate.
  • Ability
    to work under minimum supervision.
  • Ability
    to drive and motivate a large sales team to deliver results.
  • Ability
    to pursue high standards of excellence in line with agreed company
    policies and practices.
  • Ability
    to identify and provide training and development opportunities that enable
    others to reach their full potential.
  • Working
    knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Fluent
    in spoken English and Luganda.
  • Excellent
    written English.
  • Finance
    or Insurance Sales experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge
    of an addition local language other than Luganda is considered an
    advantage
