Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively
develop, implement and monitor the company’s Sales’ Strategy. - Monitor
the performance of the Sales Representatives. - Oversee,
train and develop the Sales Representatives. - Develop
and manage the Sales’ reporting and communication systems. - Ensure
adherence and compliance of the company’s selling guidelines and
principles. - Initiate
and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets and
increase the customer base.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
candidate should possess a good business related University degree from a
recognized institution. - At
least five years’ experience in sales administration with at least 2 years
in a supervisory role. - Ability
to plan, organize and coordinate. - Ability
to work under minimum supervision. - Ability
to drive and motivate a large sales team to deliver results. - Ability
to pursue high standards of excellence in line with agreed company
policies and practices. - Ability
to identify and provide training and development opportunities that enable
others to reach their full potential. - Working
knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. - Fluent
in spoken English and Luganda. - Excellent
written English. - Finance
or Insurance Sales experience is highly preferred - Knowledge
of an addition local language other than Luganda is considered an
advantage
