About UWA:
Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA)was established in 1996 and is managed in accordance with the Wildlife Act Cap 200. The Mission of UWA is: “To conserve, economically develop and sustainably manage the wildlife and protected areas of Uganda in partnership with neighbouring communities and other stakeholders for the benefit of the people of Uganda and the global community.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Concessions Officer should possess an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in either Economics, Commerce or Business Administration or an equivalent qualification from a reputable organization.
- At least two (2) years relevant working experience from a Reputable Organization.
- Computer literacy skills i.e. attended specialized training in computer applications is a must.
- Clear knowledge and understanding of the Hotel and Tourism Industry.
- Competence and skills in negotiations skills and ability to represent and lobby for UWA’s interests
