About Us:
Hive Colab was started in 2008 and is the first technology focused
innovation hub and collaborative co‐ working space in Kampala. We have
supported technologists in Uganda by providing a workspace to incubate their
ideas and projects, business development assistance at a below market rate.
Also, Hive Colab supports the larger ecosystem of technology entrepreneurs in
Kampala by organizing, networking, training, mentoring and informational events
at the space.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:   In this role, the
Hive Colab Community Lead will:
  • Serve as an Ambassador for Hive Colab in
    the community, effectively communicating Hive Colab’s history, current programs and
    its desire to expand on its success
  • Build and maintain relationships with
    local and regional organizations in Uganda that would like to hold events
    at Hive Colab
  • Send ideas to the Operation manager for
    events that serve our technologists and can be managed at Hive Colab
  • Identify companies that are interested in
    sponsoring an event at Hive Colab
  • Identify/Communicate to the Director those
    companies that express interest in investing in technologists
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:  The above candidate
should be a good blogger, and a big actor on social media
