Treatment Officer
Foundation – Uganda (Baylor-Uganda)
Phase 2
(Baylor-Uganda) headquartered at Mulago hospital, is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS
care and treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV
infected and affected Children and Adults. Baylor – Uganda has four operational
areas; HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health
services, Health Professional training and Clinical Research. Baylor-Uganda is
in receipt of UNICEF and PEPFAR grant through CDC.
Care and Treatment Officer will mainly review and monitor the implementation of
Baylor Uganda objectives for Paediatric HIV care & treatment in alignment
with up to date MoH guidelines for comprehensive Paediatric, adolescent and
adult HIV care & treatment to improve health facility service programs,
system and structure
Experience:
- The candidate should possess an M.B.Ch.B
and registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council. - A minimum of three years’ experience in
clinic or hospital-based services. - Two or more years’ experience at a
supervisory role will be an added advantage. - Past experience in HIV/AIDS and ART is an
added advantage. - Excellent team and communication skills
- Must be dynamic. Persuasive
&convincing, self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative.
