(Baylor-Uganda) headquartered at Mulago hospital, is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS
care and treatment organization that supports the treatment and care of HIV
infected and affected Children and Adults. Baylor – Uganda has four operational
areas; HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services, maternal child health
services, Health Professional training and Clinical Research. Baylor-Uganda is
in receipt of UNICEF and PEPFAR grant through CDC.
Counsellor will offer technical support in SMC client mobilization, HCT, pre
and Post circumcision surgery counseling services to SMC clients.
Experience:
- The candidate should hold a Diploma in
Nursing (Double Train) or equivalent from a recognized institution with
any certificate in counselling and must be registered with the Uganda
Nurses and midwifes council - A minimum of two years’ experience in
clinic or hospital-based services. - Prior exposure and experience in SMC, HIV/
AIDS and ART is an added advantage.
