About UWA:
Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) was established in 1996 and is managed in accordance with the Wildlife Act Cap 200. The Mission of UWA is: “To conserve, economically develop and sustainably manage the wildlife and protected areas of Uganda in partnership with neighbouring communities and other stakeholders for the benefit of the people of Uganda and the global community.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The candidate should hold an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution with a bias in Commercial Law, Environmental Law or Company law.
  • The candidate should also hold a postgraduate diploma in legal practice form LDC.
  • The applicant must be enrolled as an advocate of the High Court.
  • Possess a valid practicing Certificate.
  • At least three years relevant working experience in a Government establishment or prominent busy firm.
  • Good working knowledge of Environmental Law, Company Law.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of Legal practice.
  • The applicant must also be registered as a member of the Uganda Law Society
