AIDS Foundation is a global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS,
working in 17 countries and at 4,700 sites around the world to prevent the
transmission of HIV to children, and to help those already infected. Today,
because of the highly successful work of the Foundation and its partners,
pediatric AIDS has been virtually eliminated in the United States.
AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) seeks to end pediatric HIV/AIDS through research,
advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs. We are a global leader in the
fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS, working in 15 countries and at 7,000
sites around the world to prevent the transmission of HIV to children, and to
help those already infected. Today, because of the highly successful work of
the Foundation and its partners over the last 25 years, pediatric AIDS has been
virtually eliminated in the United States and new infections in children have
declined by 51% worldwide.
Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for preparing financial statements,
maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll, maintaining accounts payable
and managing office Finance operations
- Prepare
and submit the monthly financial accounting and management reports on
time. - Receives
fully approved staff timesheets, prepares payroll (including individual
staff pay slips) and completes the Payroll Allocation Spreadsheet - The
jobholder will prepare and remit monthly statutory payments. - Offer
technical support to field finance staff, and work closely with them to
ensure that financial information is accurate and up to date. - Prepares
monthly bank reconciliation and supporting documentation. - Reviews
petty cash reconciliation, prepares petty cash replenishment, and performs
periodic petty cash checks. - Receives
expense reports and advance requests from staff members and performs
initial review for accuracy and completeness - Tracks
vacation and severance accrual in consultation with the HR manager - Assists
the Finance Manager to prepare budgets and monthly forecasts.
- The
applicant must hold a Degree in Accounting, plus a professional
accountancy qualification - At
least four years’ accounting experience in a reputable organization - Previous
experience in managing US government- funds is essential - Computer
literacy skills and knowledge of QuickBooks Pro - Strong
team player with proven communication and collaborative skills.
