About ICC:
The International Criminal Court (ICC), governed by the Rome Statute,
is the first permanent, treaty based, international criminal court established
to help end impunity for the perpetrators of the most serious crimes of concern
to the international community.
The ICC is an independent international organisation, and is not part
of the United Nations system. Its seat is at The Hague in the Netherlands.
Although the Court’s expenses are funded primarily by States Parties, it also
receives voluntary contributions from governments, international organisations,
individuals, corporations and other entities.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Drive staff members safely to various
    destinations as required.
  • Collect and drive VIPs and visiting staff
    from the hotel/FO to and from the airport.
  • Assist in collecting and delivering
    documentation/goods when required.
  • Conduct daily inspection of ICC vehicles:
    check all oil, water, coolant levels, tyre pressure and safety accessories
    and first aid kit.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance
    of the assigned vehicle, keep it clean, both inside and outside; ensure
    vehicle is fuelled.
  • Carry out minor car repairs, change light
    assembly, fuses, replace damaged hoses, windshield wipers, etc.
  • Actively participate in special driving
    operations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by
    the Field Office Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant must have completed secondary
    school.
  • A minimum of two years’ work experience as
    a driver.
  • Possess a Valid driver’s licence; clean
    driving record; knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in
    minor vehicle repair.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in oral and written English is
mandatory. Working knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of vernacular
languages subject to country will be considered an asset. Knowledge of another
official language of the Court would be considered an asset (Arabic, Chinese,
English, Russian, Spanish).
