Job Summary: The ICT Manager
will work closely with other departments to identify, recommend, develop,
implement and support cost-effective technology solutions as well as define and
implement ICT policies, procedures and best practices. The job incorporates all
traditional functions of IT, Web/Online presence and all other media-related
platforms such as SMS/Mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and leadership in IT
strategy, operations, cost-optimization, innovation and efficiency
improvement - Support the team in researching solutions,
solicit input from industry experts and recommend solutions to meet
business requirements - Accountable for the understanding user requirements,
analysis and problem - Identifying and managing resources needed
for the planning, development and delivery of specified information and
communications systems services (including data, voice, text, audio and
images) - Influencing users through initiatives that
ensure that the infrastructure is managed to provide agreed levels of
service and data integrity. - Taking full responsibility for budgeting,
estimating, planning and objective setting - Responsible for activities of IT
operations including data administration, security, change management,
telecommunications and client platform teams. This involves risk
management efforts, identifying appropriate resources needed to ensure
timely completion of projects
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The NTV ICT Manager should hold a first degree
in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT) - At least five years’ experience in a
technical role - Extensive working knowledge of MAC OS and
Final Cut Editing software, FTP server and multimedia will be an added
advantage - Working knowledge of computer network
security systems, procedures, techniques and - Comprehensive knowledge of iMacs and have
the ability to customize their functions - Possess the ability to work long and odd
hours in a fast paced environment - Previous experience in TV environment(will
be an advantage) - Talent and ability to learn new
technologies and implement them successfully. - Solid knowledge and understanding of
industry best practices and standards
