Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective and efficient
mobilization and deployment of financial resources. - Develop and implement effective financial
policies and procedures. Review and update them as required. - Ensure that compliance with regard to
statutory returns are met on a timely basis. - Proven ability to use different accounting
packages as well as those related to property management. - Steer the development, implementation and
maintenance a comprehensive cost system. - Offering reliable and timely information,
especially on financial matters, to the C.E.O and the Management
Committee. - Analyzing thoroughly key issues pertaining
to NIL’s financial resources and expenditure thereof. - Ensuring Tax compliance within the
Institution of NIL. - Management of Rental collections,
allowable deductions and remittance of the same to the property owners. - Providing reliable and timely information,
to the C.E.O and the Management Committee. - Oversee the preparation of internal and
for external audits to ensure implementation of initiatives to address
areas of weakness highlighted.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should hold an Honors Degree
in Commerce, ACCA, CPA or Business Administration. - A minimum of five years’ management
experience in similar line. - Professional Expertise, Financial
orientation, self starting initiative, Organizational astuteness. - Possess the ability to select, develop and
motivate necessary talent in his or her department to maintain the
company’s overall objectives. - Excellent interpersonal skills with
unquestionable Integrity. - Computer literacy skills with proficiency
with different financial accounting packages.
Age: 30-40 years
