University (KAB) has enjoyed steady growth and progress. KAB Main Campus is
located on Kikungiri Hill, one Kilometre off Kabale-Kigali Highway in Kabale
Municipality. Mandated to bridge a highly felt gap in South Western Uganda and
the surrounding areas of the Great Lakes Region, KAB offers a serene reflective

and diverse source of funding.
- The
candidate should hold a Master’s Degree from recognized institution, with
additional knowledge in project planning or management, marketing, grants
management and institutional investments. - At
least three years’ experience in successful grant development and
monitoring in the field of education and related fields. - Good
knowledge and understanding of principles and techniques of grant proposal
writing and budgeting. - Working
knowledge of grant writing resources and information sources. - Past
exposure and experience producing written grant narratives and other
written grant‐related communications. - Skills
in project management, program development, and community outreach
experience. - Past
experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders. - Highly
proficient in establishing, managing and maintaining relationships, both
within and outside of the organization. - Past
exposure in analyzing, evaluating and recommending innovative solutions in
relation to institutional strategic plans. - Prior
experience in preparing and managing, grant budgets. - Past
exposure and experience in developing, implementing and administering
policies and procedures. - Possess
the ability to create and manipulate information in word processing,
databases, spreadsheets, and Access files. - Excellent
verbal and written communication skills. - Ability
to organize and prioritize work. - Ability
to meet short deadlines. - Ability
to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - A
high degree of accuracy and integrity. - Strategic
thinker.
