- Maintain, build and grow key working
relationships with other NGOs working within the refugee settlements to
ensure coordination and collaboration. - Build strong working relationships with
refugee and host communities. - Implement advocacy and awareness events
and campaigns. - Responsible for implementing large scale
academic and recreational events. - Maintain a constant presence within
refugee settlement areas where ADC is working. - Based on ADC programming, deliver weekly
training sessions to various stakeholders within the refugee settlements. - Uphold the values of ADC at all times.
Experience:
- The Field Officer must possess a relevant University
Degree or equivalent experience required. - Ideally, the candidate must also have a background
in education and a good knowledge of Peace Building and Emergency
Education strategies. - Five or more years’ experience in
nonprofit setting and/or international NGO setting essential. - Possess excellent English communication
skills, both written and oral, and be willing to travel to challenging
rural environments. - Good time keeping skills and ability
- Possess the ability to work to targets and
tight deadlines. - Ability to work without direct supervision
to achieve the missions of ADC. - Past experience of managing a team.
- In addition to English, people speaking
