Kingdom as well undertake Real Estate Investment and Development.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of and accountable for the
overall operation and management of Namulondo Investments Limited. - Responsible with the Boards approval for
setting the companies overall strategic direction and priorities with
board, and monitoring the performance of the company. - With the Boards approval, guiding,
directing and leading the Management Team in carrying out major plans and
procedures consistent with established policies. - Providing the required linkage between the
Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team, and providing them
with adequate information to carry out their responsibilities. - Presenting to the Board of Directors in
line with strategic goals and | objectives, budgets, policies, and
procedures to enhance its market share, profitability and return on
investment. - Conducting a strategic review of
performance on a regular basis to determine whether the company is
meeting its short-and long-term : objectives (increase in profits,
increase in market share, and return on investment). - Prepare and Implement a strategic plan;
monitor and measure performance on a regular basis against set targets
/goals. - Identifying performance gaps instituting
reviews and ensuring that objectives are met in a timely manner. - Periodically reviewing and checking the
performance of the Management : Team and recommending remedial action and
improvements. - Promoting the companies direction and
momentum, its business performance, the positive external impact (image),
internal business climate, people and services. - Acting as the principal public relations
officer of the company and representing them with major customers,
government entities, the financial community, and the public. - Ensuring the development of an effective
organizational structure and the promotion of a positive internal climate
in which management development for succession is nurtured. - Delegating some responsibilities to appropriate
executives in order to ensure smooth running of the company. - Carrying out annual performance appraisal
for all executives and /recommending salary adjustments, rewards and
promotions. - Monitoring the adherence of employees to
guidelines, policies and procedures. - Developing, managing and motivating
executives and employees reporting to him. - Setting and operationalization of a clear
institutional recruitment process for staff.
Experience:
- The CEO should hold an Honors degree in
one of the following disciplines Business Administration, Real Estate
Management, Economics, Law and Civil Engineering. A Masters Degree in
Business Administration will be a prerequisite. - Six or more years’ executive-level
management experience in a Land and property related field. - Possess visionary with proven leadership
qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset. - Professional expertise, financial
orientation, self starting initiative, cross cultural awareness,
organization astuteness and team spirit. - Possess the ability to select, develop and
motivate necessary management talent to - maintain the company’s overall objectives
- Excellent interpersonal skills such as
leadership, communication, persuasion, motivation, loyalty, and openness. - The applicant must be a person with high
degrees of professionalism and unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character. - Be a good team player and Builder,
