Job Summary: The
Chemical Technician will carry out chemical and physical laboratory
tests to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of
solids, liquids, for purposes, such as research and development of new products
or processes, quality control, maintenance of environmental standards, and
other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry
and related sciences.

or processes, quality control, maintenance of environmental standards, and
other work involving experimental, theoretical, or practical application of chemistry
and related sciences.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor product quality to ensure
compliance to standards and specifications. - Set up and conduct chemical experiments,
tests, and analyses. - Compile and interpret results of tests and
analyses. - Maintain, clean, and sterilize laboratory
instruments and equipment. - Intuitively
write technical reports or prepare graphs and charts to document
experimental results. - Order and inventory materials in order to
maintain supplies. - Develop and conduct programs of sampling
and analysis to maintain quality standards of raw materials, chemical
intermediates, and products. - Direct or monitor other workers producing
chemical products. - Significantly contributes to team effort
by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Diploma in
Chemical engineering / industrial chemistry or equivalent. - The candidate must have a minimum of two
years’ relevant experience Computer knowledge is a must - Possess a valid passport
