British charity SolarAid that aims to enable the world’s poorest people to have
access to clean, renewable power. The mission is to eradicate the use of
kerosene for lighting in Africa by the end of this decade.
Development Manager, Programmes will also support SunnyMoney’s mission through
achievement of sales targets and growth of the SunnyMoney brand and business
model in Uganda.
Responsibilities:
strong distribution network through schools campaigns, team management,
programme development, monitoring and evaluation and reporting
Experience:
- All candidates should possess University
degrees in Business/sales and marketing - At least five years’ sales, account
management and distribution experience - Past experience working in both a social
enterprise and/or private sector - Good working knowledge of distribution,
marketing, sales and business administration. - Past exposure and experience across
distribution channels with a track record of results scaling up a business - Personal qualities of integrity,
credibility, and dedication to the mission of SunnyMoney - Prior experience in the solar sector is an
added advantage - Technology savvy
- Possess a Valid Driving Licence
