About BRAC:
BRAC, one the largest Non-Governmental Development Organization in the world, working in a number of countries in Africa and Asia on poverty alleviation Programs, is registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization implements integrated development approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture, Livestock, Adolescent Empowerment, and Micro finance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Plan, design, implement & troubleshoot the local area network.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and monitor the ERP servers & data connectivity.
  • In charge of software installation, hardware troubleshooting and user support.
  • Work closely with ISP on issue of internet connectivity & payment clarification.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor in Computer Science from a recognized University/Institution
  • At least three years’ practical experience in Network/system Administration in a reputable organization.
  • Skills in Network Topology, Network Setup, LAN, WAN and Cloud Computing.
  • Ability to Install and configure Hub, router, Switch, Firewall and Wi-Fi.
  • Good working knowledge in Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, File Server and Group Policy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
