About ABC: 
ABC Capital Bank started its journey in 1993, as a deposit taking
financial institution then trading by the name Capital Finance Corporation
Limited. Licensed and supervised by Bank of Uganda under the Financial
Institutions Act 2004, Capital Finance Corporation Limited offered a wide range
of products such as savings accounts, business accounts, fixed deposits,
business loans services and remittances through Western Union money transfer
agency. The target market was mainly small and medium enterprises, individual
and salaried workers.
Job Summary: The 10 Direct
Sales Representatives will be in charge of growing the Bank’s revenue by cross
selling Bank products to existing customers and acquiring new customers. The
jobholders will also acquire, grow and deepen customer relationships.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
1. Visibility:
  • Improve visibility and brand image of the
    Bank
  • Support in the development and
    implementation of marketing and business development initiatives.
2. Acquisition & customer portfolio management:
  • Actively market the Bank’s products and
    services on a daily basis to existing and prospective customers with
    emphasis on Loans and Overdrafts, Current and Savings Accounts and Fixed
    Deposits.
  • Generate business through local sales
    promotion: outdoor marketing calls on existing as well as potential
    customers.
  • Build and grow relationships with existing
    referral sources and cultivate new referral sources both internally and
    externally.
  • Achieve the Targets set in terms of
    product mix and customer segment.
  • Work in liaison with the Business
    Development Manager and/or Branch Heads in arranging for events
    /promotions for new acquisition of customers.
  • Ensure the best in terms of quality of
    sales.
  • Derive insights to competitor Sales
    activities and effectively counter the efforts.
  • Regularly provide feedback to the Business
    Development Manager on the acceptance of the products in the market and
    suggest changes that could provide energy to the sales efforts.
  • Achieve maximum share of wallet for each
    customer acquired.
  • Intuitively review credit applications for
    personal loans before submission to the Credit Department.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly,
    monthly, quarterly and annual sales call reports.
  • Compile and prepare weekly activity
    reports.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Successfully opened accounts and closed
    accounts
  • Zero customer complaints.
  • 100% compliance to KYC and AML policies
    and procedures.
  • Number of customer referrals
  • At least 3 trainings annually.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should hold a university
    degree in any discipline
  • Possess a pleasant personality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literacy skills is essential
