multimedia business housing newspaper, magazines, internet publishing,
television, radio broadcasting, commercial printing, advertising and
distribution services. NVPPCL is listed on the Uganda Stock Exchange, with an
expected turnover of over UGX 60 billion (FY 2010/2011).
and coordinate timely implementation of all sales activities in the Northern region,
achieve regional sales revenue growth, clientele base and market share.
- Supervise and
implement sales actions to ensure delivery of weekly, monthly, quarterly
sales & wastage targets. - Acquire, coach and
supervise an effective team of sales executives in West Nile to achieve
consistent performance and productivity in the region. - Actively coordinate
and ensure financial and operational efficiencies for all sales activities
in the region. - Steer new
advertising/commercial printing clientele and copy sales channel
acquisitions in order to grow sales and market share in the region for all
Vision group product lines. - Directly sell & do
daily merchandising to existing and potential Advertising, Circulation
& Printing clients to influence clients preference for Vision Group
products. - Ensure timely revenue
collections from Advertisers, distributors to achieve zero balances on
their financial statements. - Significantly contribute
to innovations and product development ideas for all Vision Group products
in the region especially Arua One radio in order to commercialize all the
value offers to the target clients. - Acquire market
intelligence/feedback through daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and
report on special assignments in order to get the sales levels of all our
products and competitive forces. - Compile and submit
timely sales reports in order facilitate decision making and support
management know the performance of the various brands - Perform any other
duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager-
North
- The applicant should hold a business
degree from a recognized university with good appreciation of numbers. - A minimum of three years’ experience of
Sales management in Media or FMCG environment. - Excellent analytical, planning and
implementation skills. - Highly self-driven dynamic personality
- Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency at
PowerPoint, excel and can quickly adapt to available sales management
software. - Possess a valid riding permit.
- Willingness to work long hours without
supervision including on public holidays and weekends.
