Contract) is the five-year organizational program support vehicle through which
USAID/Uganda will pursue realizing its development objectives within the
complicated and shifting Ugandan development context. The purpose of
the Learning Contract is to provide monitoring, evaluation and learning support
services and build capacity of USAID/Uganda to implement USAID’s Collaborating,
Learning, and Adapting methodology to strengthen the implementation of
USAID/Uganda’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy and enhance USAID’s
organizational effectiveness.
project requires short-term technical assistance of local consultants to assist
with monitoring and evaluations consultancies. Typically such short-term
consultancies last between 3 to 4 weeks and may require occasional travel outside
of Kampala. The learning contract is in the process of compiling our roster of
qualified individuals who have expertise in the following areas:
- Health (emphasis upon maternal/child
health; malaria/TB; HIV/AIDS) - Agriculture
- Democracy and Governance
- Monitoring and Evaluation (quantitative
skills; impact evaluations; survey design experience)
each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive
information supporting each item.
- The ideal jobholder for the aforementioned
USAID consultancy must hold a university degree in the related field - At least three years’ related practical
experience
