Job Summary: The Management & Revenue Accountant is responsible for all internal reporting, budgetary control and revenue assurance. The job function requires a highly analytical approach, strong budgetary focus, and a keen understanding of the business
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for management accounting, variance analysis, budgetary control;
In charge of Revenue Assurance;
Business intelligence and analytics to meet the requirements for client user departments;
Credit control for postpaid customers and 3rd party dealers / payment agents;
Oversight of the Management & Revenue Accounting team;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Management & Revenue Accountant must hold a good University degree in Business, Accounting, Statistics or related field
- Professional Accounting qualification, 2 years post-qualified
- At least three years’ experience in a similar role in a medium to large private sector organization.
- Past exposure and experience in the telecommunications sector is strongly preferred.
- University degree in Business, Accounting, Statistics or related field;
- Database qualifications and experience (SQL, Oracle)
- Past experience of enterprise systems;
- Prior experience in designing and disseminating reports which add value to the business;
- Good Budgetary control;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent analytical, problem solving mindset with attention to detail;
- Exhibit courage to enforce the Credit Control policy and procedures;
- Proven ability to effectively supervise and mentor others;
- Customer service orientation and a commitment to meeting SLAs;
- Risk management mindset;
