Relations Manager will ascertain that the individual and collective
relationship between the organization and its employees are managed
appropriately; within a clear framework underpinned by organization culture,
practices, policies and ultimately by relevant law.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in developing and
reviewing the employee relations strategy, policy and practice. - Drive and oversee all employee relations
initiatives within the Fund. - Develop an Employee Relations strategy
that is aligned with business needs. - Intuitively guide and support all parts of
the business on employee relations matters to ensure their effective
management including disciplinary and grievance matters. - Stay up to date with current employee
relations legislation and ensure this is updated in the Human Resource
Manual. - Oversee the employee relations team
effectively to ensure objectives are met. - Maintains the Fund staff by establishing a
recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on
candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews;
recommending changes. - Maintains professional and technical
knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional
publications; establishing personal networks; participating in
professional societies. - Maintains human resource records in the
Human resource capital system (HCIS) and by designing a filing and
retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Arts or Sciences - A Master’s degree in Business
Administration or Human Resource Management or a - Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource
Management. - Five or more years’ experience in a senior
level management experience in an organization with a large workforce, in
a busy and dynamic Human Resource department. - Being a member of the Human Resource
governing body would be an added advantage. - High Personal Self -drive
