Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote, sell & secure orders from existing and
prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. - Develop sales action plans to improve the financial
performance of the sales representatives - Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential
customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs. - Significantly collaborate with the General Manager to come
up with realistic years sales Target - Perform Sales function on Major accounts and negotiate
prices and discounts in consultation with the GM. - Work closely with the General Manager (GM) to develop sales
strategies to improve the market share for all product lines. - Oversee and assign the sales team to the sectors of
interest to help meet the Departmental sales objective. - Conduct daily sales meetings with the team to review sales
progress & report performance to management - Read and interpret tender specifications.
- Supervise and guide the administration personnel during
the tender organization. - Follow-up on the tenders with the clients to ensure that
we win the tenders. - Come up with service contracts, ensure service agreements
are signed and supervise the service jobs. - Follow up on debt collection.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The candidate should hold a University Degree in
Sales/Marketing or any related business field - Professional qualifications is an added advantage
- Working knowledge in computer software programs including
Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, outlook and power point) - A minimum of five years’ professional experience in a
Sales & Marketing Environment - Detailed knowledge and experience in telecommunication
sector is a must - Excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both
independently and within a team environment.
