Job Summary: The BRAC
International Uganda Country Lead, Human Resources and Training will direct
various aspects of strategic and operational HR and training efforts to support
short-term and long-term goals of BRAC International.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Offer HR leadership; collaborate with the
management team to design and implement strategies to support
organisational growth and culture - Collaborate with HR at the Head Office in
rolling out organisational development initiatives - Conduct ongoing analysis of the
organisation, monitoring and interpreting trends and key HR metrics - Guide the complete cycle of HR operations
- Develop practices and programs that
attract, retain and develop the best possible talent in the marketplace
and makes the company attractive through competitive pay and an engaging
culture.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s
degree in Human Resources,
Business Administration,
Organisational Psychology, or related area of focus is required; Master’s
degree (e.g., MBA, MA HR) strongly preferred - The applicant must possess at least five
years HR and training experience - Willingness to travel to domestic and
international offices - Past experience working with a diverse
workforce - Prior experience working within an NGO is
a plus - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive
information - Communicate effectively, verbally and in
writing, to a diverse audience - Hold relevant training certifications and
excellent facilitation & training design skills - Remain flexible in order to adapt to
changes in work environment - Excellent time-management,
problem-prevention and problem-solving skills - Computer literacy skills i.e. IT skills
