Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting/treasury team.
- Manage the month and year end closing
processes, prepare financial statements within deadlines provided by the
Joint Ventures and Production Sharing Agreements. - Offer management with the relevant
analyses of expense trends and forecasts. - Ensure invoices are paid according to
contract terms. - Act as the primary contact person for
statutory audits. - In addition, guarantee that the treasury
system is set up according to the Company guidelines, manage the
relationships with the banks and assist in tax compliance matters.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should possess a
bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. - At least ten years’ experience in
accounting in the oil and gas industry - Detailed knowledge of SAP.
- Excellent managerial skills
- Excellent numerical and analytical
skills. - High IT proficiency particularly in
advanced Microsoft Excel.
