change programs. Straight Talk Foundation (STF) is a Ugandan health
communication NGO registered in 1997.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the
identification of organization funding needs; develop and implement
strategies for meeting them. - Generate proposals for
projects and programs in line with STF strategic goals and donor
priorities. - Carry out activities
to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with STF funders and
partners. - Nurture existing donor
relationships and secure new donor and partner relationships for STF. - Oversee existing
grants in liaison with the finance team; maintain excellent historical
organization records on various grants. - Monitor STF grant
performance and communicate relevant information with program staff. - Create and maintain
systems to promote good working relationships with program staff on
proposal development, reporting and other contractual obligations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of five years’ experience of
successful grant writing - Possession of a Masters degree in a health or
development area - The applicant should possess high personal
initiative - Work independently
- Manage complex tasks
- Ability to prioritize
- Possess the ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and oral communication
skills - Highly detail oriented; analytical and a
problem- solver
