Kasanaensis is to implement a project, – “Global Climate Change Alliance” –
Uganda: Agriculture Adaptation to Climate Change” with funding from the
European Union, in the districts of Luweero and Nakaseke. The overall objective
of the project is to ; “Increase the resilience of livelihoods to threats and
crises ”. Caritas Kasanaensis is to Oversee, coordinate, supervise and support
the implementation of activities of the 48 FFSs (Farmer Field Schools) in the
sub counties of Ngoma and Wakyato in Nakaseke and Kamira and Kikyusa of Luwero
districts
The applicant should
hold a year’s or more experience in Agricultural Rural extension, Environment,
Project planning and Management.
Possess a Bachelor’s degree
or Diploma in Agriculture, Livestock or related field is a must.
Self motivated with
excellent time management skills.
Exhibit a passion for
learning and effectiveness in development assistance
Communication and group
facilitation skills.
Demonstrated experience
as a networker /facilitator/motivator/ advocate
Preference will also be
made to those graduates born or resident in the districts of Luweero and
Nakaseke where the project is to operate.
