will mainly assist in the opening of Internal accounts (CASAs) for the running loan
book where deductions are at source to enhance efficient and timely loan
payment collections to contribute to
business growth in line with the Barclay’s policies and procedures and
achieve impairment Targets.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a manual tracker on all cases
(allocated loan book) - Open accounts under screen 8051
- Pass on account for authorization.
- Offer daily MI of what has been opened.
- Link opened internal CASA to the scheme
loan account.
- Review all accounts opened to confirm they
were done right and for the right customers. - Review and confirm the accounts were
linked correctly. - Sign off for evidence of confirmation.
- Adhere to timelines within the service
level agreements (SLAs) to ensure efficiency and quick turn-around time
(TAT) in loan processing.
- Share best practice and any red flags that
are a result of the scheme and disbursement process. - Technically support other members of
Credit Operations Unit when required to ensure business continuity and
achievement of business targets.
Experience:
- The applicants should be acquainted and
possess a good understanding the Barclays end to end retail lending
process. - Comprehensive knowledge of Barclays Retail
lending policies. - Knowledge of finance or accounting.
- Possess general banking Knowledge.
- Competency in Speed and Accuracy
- Computer literacy skills i.e. strong
keyboard skills) - Excellent analytical ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent Organizational skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills.
