responsibility of coordinating the adoption of a Results-Based Management (RBM)
approach to program management.
- Formulate
program goals, outputs and indicators for EAAACA’s strategic activities
and development of mechanisms for engaging stakeholders; - Develop
comprehensive project management tools and checklists for monitoring
implementation and reporting of organizational activities such as program
activity work plans/project implementation plans (PIPS), activity based
budgets; program procurement plans, and monitoring plans (including site
visits and joint mission reviews based on approved costed M&E plans); - Carry
out assessment of organizational and financial capacities of partner
organizations, where applicable, based on a formal review of each
organization’s history, institutional, administrative, programmatic and
financial management capacity; - Take
lead interactions and ownership with management and stakeholders through
regular management meetings to review and monitor activities; - Take
responsibility for performance reporting (technical, financial,
sustainability and compliance) to the AGM, member authorities, donors and
stakeholders, as well as periodic monitoring and evaluation and learning
evaluations on program effectiveness; - In
consultation with the General Secretary, develop policies and procedures
in respect of program risk assessment and mitigation strategies and plans
as well as anti-corruption policies and related procedures such as
whistleblower policy, hotlines or dedicated email addresses for the AGM’s
approval; - Initiate
development of policies and procedures on public awareness and advocacy; gender
and diversity; and anti-terrorism protocols for AGM’s approval; - In
consultation with the General Secretary safe guard and restrict access to
sensitive information to relevant persons and develop a formal code of
conduct which should be signed by employees with access to sensitive
client information; - Perform
any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- The
candidate should possess an Honor’s Bachelors Degree of Business
Administration, Development Studies, Law or Social Sciences with Economics
as a subject; - Possession
of a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation or in Project
Planning and Management, from a recognized Institution; - Also,
hold a Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized
institution; - The
candidate should have a minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant working
experience with a reputable organization. - Past
experience in an anti-corruption programme will be an added advantage; - High
degree of personal integrity; - Highly
computer literate; - Competencies
in setting up M&E systems; - Report
writing, communication and people networking skills;
