NFT Consult, a leading HR Consultancy firm, seeks to recruit for it valuable client, a value added timber products business with operations in Mozambique, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda and the largest commercial timber species planter in East Africa. The business is growing rapidly and there is a large focus on diversifying product streams, broadening the customer base, and ratcheting the commercial side of the business and the organization’s market positioning.
Job Summary: The Management Information Analyst will offer financial and commercial analytics and continuous improvement implementation across the various operations – forestry, pole plant, saw mill, charcoal, logistics, etc
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Improve visibility of opportunities and risks based on sound analytics of various operations as assigned by the CEO
  • Will by the nature of the role involve project related work and travel to various operations in Uganda
  • Work closely with the various HoDs to strengthen the commercial aspect of their businesses
  • Generating analytical result and implementing initiatives to drive continuous improvement into the various operations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics or related.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in related job.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent team work
  • Technology skills i.e. Power Point, Excel, Outlook, MS Word.
  • Excellent Planning and Organization skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
