Job Summary: The Head of
Branch Distribution will give guidance to branches in the areas of Risk
Management and Operational Control, Customer Service, Sales Management, People
Management and Franchise Development to ensure branch profitability in line
with the overall bank strategy.

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Significantly contribute to development
and execution of Consumer Banking strategy. - Responsible for drawing and communicating strategy
and any changes to Regional Managers. - Develop and communicate an annual plan to
optimize the financial, human and physical resources. - Support branches to ensure compliance with
processes and procedures to minimize operational risk. - Oversee the overall profitability of the
branch network. - Regularly review performance of all
branches, - Prepare business cases for new branch
locations. - Assist in the identification and recommendation
of areas for improvement for existing products and processes. - Communicate and monitor Customer Service
standards across the branch network. - Manage branch performance standards to
achieve desired objectives. - Ensure that the Consumer Banking loan
portfolio in all the branches is maintained within the set standards. - Provide timely support for branches from
the support functions. - Periodical review of optimal staffing
levels in branches to increase staff productivity. - Provide supervision, monitoring, training
and mentoring to staff to achieve productivity and performance goals. - Support employee training and development
programs.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should possess a good
bachelor’s university degree. - A minimum of eight years’ experience in
branch banking and operations. - Comprehensive knowledge and understanding
of banking operations and administration. - Detailed knowledge of organizational
structure, workflow, and operating procedures. - Comprehensive knowledge of the bank’s laid
down policies and procedures relating to all areas under control. - Good business acumen
- Excellent people management skills,
- Excellent interpersonal and oral
communication skills. - Proactive approach to work with a high
level of maturity and self-drive. - Ability to supervise, and train staff,
including organizing, prioritizing, profiling and scheduling work assignments. - Employee development and performance
management skills. - High degree of personal integrity and
ethical standards - Knowledge of excellent customer service
standards.
