seconded to NDA by CHAI and will primarily be responsible for providing overall
support to the roles of the Head, I.T Unit to ensuring the proper use of the
Authority’s Information Technology resources, projects implementation and
maintenance of appropriate, effective and efficient information systems. The
job holder will assisting The Head, I.T Unit to ensure that all the IT
equipment/infrastructure of the Authority which includes computers, servers,
printers, etc are properly maintained and properly utilised. The incumbent will
actively participate in maintenance of the organization’s Information
Management Systems to ensure integrity of the systems Area of Operation.
- Actively participate in in-house software
development, maintenance and upgrading - Help in the identification of I.T needs of
the organization and present recommendations for improvements. - Participate in Disaster Recovery and
continuity planning - Prepare or cause preparation of database
and templates for data collection and processing of information from NDA
activities. - Design computer generated reports from NDA
databases and activities to guide policy decisions and inform stakeholders
and the public.
Proactively participate in regularly updating of NDA web portal with
guidelines, reports and other information to stakeholders and the public. - Co-ordinate and supervise consultants’
activities and ensure timely completion and compliance with the Terms of
Reference. - The job holder may be required to
communicate or prepare periodic reports both orally and in writing; - Work closely with/supervise I.T service providers
and consultants in execution of his/her responsibilities. - Perform any other duties as may be
assigned by the Head, I.T or the Executive Secretary/ Registrar
Communication
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s
degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science or Information
Systems from a recognised University. - At least a year’s experience in a
reputable organization.
