• Taking lead of a team of executives in
  managing a successful business which meets investors’ requirements for
  profitability.
• Explaining UAS business strategy to key
  stakeholders and ensuring that the business strategy drives effective
  operational management.
• Build the quality processes to
  systematically implement the business strategy and ensure operational
  effectiveness on a day-to-day basis.
• Meeting and/or exceeding business
  performance targets in areas such as producing excellent graduates that
  meet international civil aviation standards (CAA& ICAO), return on
  investment, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Cascading performance objectives
  throughout the organisation, together with delegated authority and
  responsibility to deliver on the business KPIs.
• Using relevant metrics and measures to
  routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate managerial
  action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Presenting compelling business cases for
  investment by the shareholder.
• Representing and promoting UAS business
  interests in national or international forums.
• Offering high-level support for business
  solutions to major clients by using appropriate relationships with
  counterparts in client organisations.
• Ensuring full compliance and adherence to
  the CAA regulatory, legal and commercial requirements.

• The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s
  Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education or in a related
  field;
• A minimum of five years of aviation management
  experience in a senior management position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  applications
• Possession of Certification in Aviation
  will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and
  presentation skills
• Proven leadership ability
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to
  recognize trends and opportunities and plan/execute action to exploit
  business opportunities
• Possess the ability to present compelling
  business cases for major investment
• Past exposure and experience working with
  and managing relationships with external agencies and 3rd party agencies
• Exhibit personal commitment to meet and
  exceed set targets
• Ability to understand the needs of staff
  and to apply best practice people management techniques to ensure a
  motivated and productive workforce.
• Exceptional professional integrity
