Job Summary: The Director
will primarily create and maintain a comprehensive business strategy for UAS
that will deliver shareholder value as directed by the Board.

The Director shall also direct operational management of UAS within the

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Taking lead of a team of executives in
managing a successful business which meets investors’ requirements for
profitability. - Explaining UAS business strategy to key
stakeholders and ensuring that the business strategy drives effective
operational management. - Build the quality processes to
systematically implement the business strategy and ensure operational
effectiveness on a day-to-day basis. - Meeting and/or exceeding business
performance targets in areas such as producing excellent graduates that
meet international civil aviation standards (CAA& ICAO), return on
investment, profitability and customer satisfaction. - Cascading performance objectives
throughout the organisation, together with delegated authority and
responsibility to deliver on the business KPIs. - Using relevant metrics and measures to
routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate managerial
action to ensure targets are met or exceeded. - Presenting compelling business cases for
investment by the shareholder. - Representing and promoting UAS business
interests in national or international forums. - Offering high-level support for business
solutions to major clients by using appropriate relationships with
counterparts in client organisations. - Ensuring full compliance and adherence to
the CAA regulatory, legal and commercial requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education or in a related
field; - A minimum of five years of aviation management
experience in a senior management position - Proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications - Possession of Certification in Aviation
will be an added advantage - Excellent interpersonal, communication and
presentation skills - Proven leadership ability
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to
recognize trends and opportunities and plan/execute action to exploit
business opportunities - Possess the ability to present compelling
business cases for major investment - Past exposure and experience working with
and managing relationships with external agencies and 3rd party agencies - Exhibit personal commitment to meet and
exceed set targets - Ability to understand the needs of staff
and to apply best practice people management techniques to ensure a
motivated and productive workforce. - Exceptional professional integrity
