- Taking lead of a team of Commercial managers in creating a UAS sales and marketing strategy within a framework agreed by the Director, which creates and delivers shareholder value.
- Explaining UAS commercial strategy to key stakeholders and ensuring that it drives operational management in Marketing Department.
- Meeting and/or exceeding business performance targets in areas return on investment, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Using relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate managerial action to ensure that all targets are met or exceeded.
- Representing and promoting UAS commercial interests in national or international forums
- The applicant should hold a good Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional CIMA or equivalent qualification is a pre-requisite for a successful applicant
- Computer literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- At least four years’ experience in senior management position
- Professional Certification in Aviation will be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proven leadership ability
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to recognize trends and opportunities and plan/execute action to exploit business opportunities
- Possess the ability to present compelling business cases for major investment
- Past exposure and experience working with and managing relationships with external agencies and 3rd party agencies
- Exhibit personal commitment to meet and exceed set targets
- Ability to understand the needs of staff and to apply best practice people management techniques to ensure a motivated and productive workforce.
