- Offer technical support and undertake resource mobilization tasks in line with CSP IV and organizational Policies
- Develop, lead the implementation and monitoring of sustainable livelihood strategies for guiding planning and implementation, communicate and provide support to respective units in line with the CSP IV and organizational Policies
- Monitor livelihoods programmes, communicate and consolidate reports and submit to the Policy manager in line with the organizational accountability systems’ requirements
- Offer technical assistance and strengthen the capacity of staff and partners for quality programming in line with CSP IV and organizational Policies
- Perform contextual analysis, research and analyze policies for generation of evidence for policy advocacy and campaigns in line with the CSP and AA theory of change
- Routinely engage in and coordinate local, national and international policy advocacy and campaign work in line with AA theory of change
- Mobilize, coordinate and support the building and strengthening networks, coalitions, alliances and relationships with other stakeholders at all levels (local, national, regional and international) in line with AAIU theory of change
- Plan, coordinate and implement Emergency Response Interventions in line with organizational policies
- The ideal candidate for this vacancy should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Economics, Development Studies or any other relevant degree from a reputable institution.
- Possession of a relevant post graduate qualification and training in rights based approaches, food security, participatory methods and policy analysis is an added advantage.
- A minimum of three to four years’ relevant working experience from a recognized institution
