About Us:
Centre For Legal Aid is an NGO dedicated to offering legal services to indigent people.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offers financial information and advice to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
- Management of financial systems and budgets;
- Conduct financial audits (an independent check of an organization’s financial position); Works closely liaising with clients (individuals or businesses) and providing financial information and advice;
- Develop accounting systems;
- Update and maintain accounting records and preparing accounts and management information
- Advising clients on areas of business improvement, or dealing with insolvency; Compile and producing reports and recommendations following internal audits or public-sector audits;
- Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts;
- Preparing financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting;
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The accountant should possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration majoring in accounting with finance specialty.
- Professional ACCA is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
