Job Summary: The Agribusiness
Credit Supervisor will recommend, approve and disburse agricultural loans, and
conduct agricultural credit training to ensure quality agricultural portfolio
growth in line with guiding credit policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Review, approve and
disburse agricultural loans within delegated limits in line with the bank
credit policy. - Carry out credit
training for agricultural credit staff and other stakeholders in line with
the Bank’s training plan, business plan and Credit policies and identified
needs - Attend to agricultural
customer inquiries and complaints from branches and take corrective
actions in line with the customer service standards. - Implement the agricultural
portfolio growth /quality activities in liaison with Agribusiness Unit
Manager in line with the business plan. - Conduct loan
documentation and ensure proper filling in line with credit policy.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate
should possess an Honour’s degree in Agricultural Sciences majoring in
Crop Finance, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics and other relevant
course from a recognized University. - Other relevant post
graduate qualification in agriculture is added advantage - A minimum of five
years’ working experience in Agricultural Lending in a regulated Financing
Institutions with at least two years at supervision and managerial level - Extensive knowledge of
banking experience practices and regulatory requirements - Knowledge of banking
practices and regulatory requirements - Good understanding of
banking business processes and related risks and controls in a bank - Excellent analytical
skills - Investigative skills
- Ability to work
independently - Good communication and
Interpersonal skills - High degree of
integrity and confidentiality - Ability to manage
several deliverables in a timely and effective manner.
