Job Summary: The Director,
Human Resource and Administration will offer strategic guidance and direction
to the HRA Directorate, develop, monitor, implement and review Human Resource
and Administrative strategies, systems, policies, and practices in line with
existing TASO strategic objectives and people management guidelines

Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor the Human
Resource and Administration Business Plan and budget in line with TASO
strategic plan and policies. - Develop, implement and review Human
Resource sourcing processes and retention strategies in line with TASO
policy. - Review and direct the TASO Board and
management on optimization of the TASO organizational structure and
business model. - Develop, monitor and implement the systems
for knowledge management to enhance learning and development function in
line with the TASO Staff Development and information management policies. - Plan, develop and implement staff
performance management system in line with the TASO Human Resource
Management Manual. - Develop, implement and review a staff
compensation, welfare and incentive system in line with TASO Human
Resource Management Manual. - Develop systems and procedures for
managing and maintaining TASO’s assets, estates and utilities in line with
relevant laws, regulations and standards.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The successful candidate will possess a good
masters in Human Resource Management, MBA, Organizational (Industrial or
occupational) psychology; - Some training in Administration,
Management/Organisational studies, Procurement and Contracts Management,
and Project Management; - At least six years’ relevant experience at
Managerial or Senior Management level in a busy and competitive
environment, especially in NGO, private sector or similar sector; - Fluency in English language
- Strong leadership, teamwork and management
skills - Excellent communication, networking and
negotiation skills; - Proficiency in computer and computer
packages
