About InterAid:
InterAid Uganda is a national
humanitarian NGO engaging in humanitarian and development work in both the
urban and rural communities in Uganda. In partnership with UNHCR and OPM,
InterAid is in the process of establishing a multi- sectoral programme in
Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement.
Job Summary: The Child
Protection Counselor will be responsible for implementing activities in the
program me and in the refugee communities to strengthen child protection, and
promote Protection integration in coordination with other stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate should possess a good bachelor’s degree in Social Work,
    Social Sciences or related field.
  • A
    minimum of three years’ experience in child protection work, related
    counselling experience, and community work.
  • Extensive
    knowledge of the Southern Sudanese languages (Arabic, Nuer, Acholi) and
    ability to work with people of different background is an added advantage.
